Vincent, shortened to Vince, Marieanne, who prefers to be called Manon, and I, Rody, have been friends since we were little. Ever since honey-colored fairy wings appeared on my back, Vince and Manon have wanted me to carry them to school.
"Rody! Take me!" Says Vince, his eyes full of stars.
"Come on, it's my turn today!" Manon retorts, stamping her foot.
"You're a liar, Vachier [1]!" Says Vince to mock Manon.
"Shut up, Charbon-dans-l’eau [2]!" Manon replies, blushing angrily.
"ENOUGH!" I shouted. "I'm leaving, you're on your own!"
"NOOOOOOOO!" Vince and Manon yells as I take off.
I quickly get away from them and head for school.
[1] Vachier, a vulgar pun (for “va chier/fuck you”) instead of Vacher.
[2] Manon makes a bad pun with Charbonneau, “Coal-in-water”, to make fun of Vincent.
